Boris Johnson ‘MORE TRUSTED than Prime Minister David Cameron’ to tell truth about EU
According to the ComRes poll commissioned by The Independent, as many as 45 percent of those surveyed believe that Johnson is “more likely to tell the truth” about the European Union than the British prime minister, whose support stands at 21 percent.
Respondents answering the poll said Leave campaigners were considered “more likely to tell the truth” compared to campaigners for Remain, the poll revealed.
The poll was conducted online among 2,043 adults on May 11-12.
The damaging poll for pro-EU campaigners comes as Mr Johnson claimed the EU is pursuing a similar goal to Adolf Hitler in trying to create a powerful superstate.
